About Ghost Light Farm
Stewards of Land, Animals, and Community
At Ghost Light Farm, sustainability is more than a goal—it’s woven into everything we do. Our approach is grounded in raising healthy, content animals in a low-stress, natural setting while caring for the land that supports them. We work to prevent soil erosion, improve pasture health, encourage plant and forage diversity, and protect the wildlife that shares this space with us. We're also committed to a zero-waste approach to beef production, making the most of every resource.
We believe that good stewardship means thinking long-term. Every decision we make is with future generations in mind—our kids, their kids, and beyond. It’s about leaving the land better than we found it, for all who call it home.

Who We Are
We’re Bill and Kate Morrow, the husband-and-wife team behind Ghost Light Farm in Cambridge, New York. In 2021, we began the rewarding work of turning former hay fields into a thriving Black Angus cow-calf operation. With a focus on rotational grazing and thoughtful land stewardship, we’ve grown a family-run farm that’s built on respect—for our animals, the land, and the community around us.
Sustainability in Action
One of the ways we practice sustainability is by partnering with local breweries to upcycle their spent grains into a nutritious feed for our cows. This is just one example of how we try to make thoughtful choices – recycling, reducing fuel use, and finding the simplest, low-tech ways to care for our land and animals.
WHY IT MATTERS
We value the security and trust that comes from knowing exactly where our food comes from – whether at the farmers market, direct from a neighbor’s farm, or right here at Ghost Light.
We want our customers to feel that same confidence. Every cut of beef we sell is raised with care, handled with safety in mind, and rooted in respect for our animals and the environment.

A Life We're Thankful For
Farming isn’t always easy. Some winter mornings before light, the ground is icy, and every step is a challenge. Even then, we feel grateful. This life – caring for the land, raising cattle with integrity, and providing food for families like yours – is the life we’ve chosen, and one we’re proud to live every single day.
